Finding St Paul's

Transport for London have a journey planner on their web site, and you can have endless fun sorting out your route to St Paul's using that. We're in Long Lane, and the journey planner will helpfully list every Long Lane in London. Choose Long Lane N3; when it asks you where in Long Lane, choose the junction with Dukes Avenue. By the time you've done all that you could have walked here.

Tube

The nearest tube station is Finchley Central, on the Northern Line (High Barnet branch). Go up the steps from the platform, turn left past the ticket office and left again, up the station approach road. Turn right and walk along Ballard's Lane to Long Lane, which is on the right with Pizza Hut on the corner. Walk down Long Lane and St Paul's is not far away.

Trains from Central London take about 20-30 minutes to reach Finchley Central; then it's a 5-10 minute walk.

Bus

Buses 82, 125, 143, 326, 382 and 460 come to Finchley. There's a bus spider map on the Transport for London web site.

82 runs from Victoria station to North Finchley, via Marble Arch, St John's Wood, Golders Green and Finchley Central.
125 runs from Winchmore Hill to Finchley Central via Southgate and Whetstone.
143 follows a very circuitous route from Brent Cross to Archway, via Hendon, Finchley Central and East Finchley. There's a stop almost outside the church door.
326 runs from High Barnet to Brent Cross, via Whetstone, West Finchley and Finchley Central.
382 runs from Mill Hill to Southgate, via Finchley Central, New Southgate and Arnos Grove. This one also stops almost exactly outside the church.
460 runs from North Finchley to Willesden, via Finchley Central, Golders Green and Cricklewood.

There are night buses to Finchley too (N13 and N20), but if you catch them you'll arrive several hours before the service starts.

Car

St Paul's is in Long Lane N3, on the corner of Duke's Avenue - see this map. We only have a very small car park which we reserve for wheelchair users and others who cannot walk easily. Please park in one of the streets nearby.
