The Wren Academy

Wren Academy is a new 11-18 secondary school in North Finchley. In 2010/11 it had pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9, and over the next few years the Academy will take in a further year group annually, growing to its optimum size of about 1,050 students.

The Academy, specialising in Design and the Built Environment, is sponsored by the London Diocesan Board for Schools and Berkhamsted School and is located in a brand new suite of buildings with state-of-the-art facilities.

Over the last couple of years we have begun to develop some links with the school. These have focused on prayer and our intern helping the Chaplain, the Revd Simon Kirby, with the running of an after-school club which is centred on helping students engage more deeply with faith issues.
